Ingredients
  

Truffle Base
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur or espresso
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Coating
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate melted

Method
 

Prepare the Truffle Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, whipped heavy cream, powdered sugar, coffee liqueur, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Form the Truffles
  1. Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  2. Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Coat the Truffles
  1. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder to coat evenly.
  2. Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the coated truffles for an extra touch.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes before serving to set.
