Method
Prepare the Pie Crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pre-made pie crust in the pie pan.
- Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork to prevent bubbling.
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
Bake the Pie
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
