- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top; let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes). Melt butter and allow to cool slightly.
- Add melted butter, salt, and half of the flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined; gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle (1/4 inch thick). Spread softened butter, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar evenly, then layer sliced strawberries.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar mixed with milk before serving.
