Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb sirloin steak sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 medium onion sliced
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the sirloin steak against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done.
  3. Slice the bell pepper, onion, and prepare the broccoli and snap peas.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. In another small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth.
Stir Fry
  1. Heat the wok over high heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
  2. Add the steak strips and stir fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.
  4. Add the vegetables and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the sauce and cornstarch mixture, stir well to combine and thicken.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve hot.
