Prepare the Filling
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, sautéed spinach, mozzarella cheese, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
Stuff the Peppers
- Stuff each bell pepper with the spinach and ricotta mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
- Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.
Add Sauce and Bake
- In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce with oregano and basil. Pour the sauce over the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden and bubbly.
Serve
- Let the peppers cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed peppers!
