Method
Cook Pasta
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Make Cheese Sauce
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Combine Ingredients
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cheese sauce, spinach, and artichokes. Mix well until everything is coated.
Bake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle over the top. Add additional parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Spinach Artichoke Mac and Cheese!
