  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Beat in the egg, then add milk and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop dollops of batter onto the prepared sheet about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
