Method
Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, cornstarch, and vegetable oil. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Set aside.
Stir-Fry the Beef
- Heat a wok over high heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once hot, add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Vegetables
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil, then add the sliced bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
- Return the beef to the wok, pour in the sauce, and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through. Serve hot.
