Simple Lemon Caper Sauce

Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons capers drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the capers, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and black pepper.
  5. Serve immediately over your choice of protein or pasta.
