Mushrooms
  • 16 oz button mushrooms cleaned and trimmed
Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Mushrooms
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cleaned mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Roast the Mushrooms
  1. Spread the seasoned mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and tender.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
