Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Chow Mein noodles (or egg noodles)
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Carrots (julienned)
  • 2 cups Cabbage (sliced thinly)
  • 1/2 cup Green onions (chopped finely)
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce (or mushroom sauce for vegetarian)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

Method
 

  1. Cook the Chow Mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the carrots and cabbage; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Add the cooked noodles, green onions, soy sauce, and oyster sauce; toss to combine and heat through, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
