- Clean the Portabella mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove stems and gills.
- Sauté onions and minced garlic in olive oil over medium heat until soft.
- In a bowl, mix cooked quinoa, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, spices, and the egg until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill; cook each patty for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve on buns with preferred toppings.
