Baking and Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and pour in the cake batter. Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.
- Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
- Mix in 1/2 cup of frosting with your hands until the mixture holds together like dough.
- Roll into one-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the fridge for one hour to firm up.
Coating
- Melt chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each cake ball into the chocolate, tapping off excess before placing back on parchment paper.
- Add sprinkles while still wet. Allow to set before enjoying.
