Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak such as ribeye or sirloin
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese or cheese of choice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce for flavor
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the beef, bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add the mushrooms and garlic, and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
Cook the Beef
  1. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the sliced beef.
  2. Cook the beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, mixing everything together.
Add Cheese and Serve
  1. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the beef and vegetable mixture.
  2. Cover the skillet for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted.
  3. Serve the cheesesteak mixture in bowls and enjoy!
