- Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- Prepare bell peppers and onion by cutting them into strips.
- Marinate steak strips in a bowl with soy sauce and minced garlic for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated steak in batches and sear until browned (about 3 minutes).
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet; cook until tender-crisp (approximately 5 minutes).
- In a small bowl, mix beef broth with cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour over skillet contents and stir until thickened (about 3 minutes).
- Serve hot over rice or noodles, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
