Ingredients
  

Mushrooms
  • 16 oz button mushrooms cleaned and stems trimmed
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup for a vegan option
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for roasting
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Mushrooms
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the sauce.
Roast the Mushrooms
  1. Spread the coated mushrooms in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and slightly caramelized.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
