Ingredients
  

Cabbage Steaks
  • 1 head green cabbage cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika optional, for flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Cabbage
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut it into 1-inch thick slices to create 'steaks'.
Season the Cabbage
  1. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with the garlic oil mixture.
Roast the Cabbage
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cabbage steaks on it.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and serve hot as a side dish or main course.
