Prepare the Batter
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the orange juice and zest until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Bake the Bread
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
