Method
Prepare the crust
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.
Make the filling
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until no streaks remain.
Assemble the cheesecake
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serve
- Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and slice into wedges.
