Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 1 lb carrots peeled and cut into sticks
Sauce
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
Fruits
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Roasting
  1. Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the maple mixture.
  2. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. In the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle the dried cranberries over the carrots.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  2. Serve warm as a side dish.
