Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and shredded
Fat
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter optional for flavor
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated, optional
  • 2 tablespoons bacon bits optional

Method
 

Prepare Brussels Sprouts
  1. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and shred them using a sharp knife or a food processor.
  2. Set aside the shredded Brussels sprouts.
Cook the Sprouts
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the shredded Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir to coat with the oil.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sprouts are tender and slightly crispy.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and top with grated parmesan cheese and bacon bits if desired.
  2. Serve warm as a side dish.
