Ingredients
  

Meat
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably 80/20 for flavor
Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fats
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
Cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

Cook the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
Finish with Cheese
  1. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the skillet and cover until the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and serve hot.
