Ingredients
  

Protein and Vegetables
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Aromatics
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, grated
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Add Aromatics and Broccoli
  1. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
Combine with Sauce
  1. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
