  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two heart-shaped cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in milk and vanilla.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before frosting with creamed butter, powdered sugar, and cream.
