- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the flour until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Form dough into one-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Create an indentation in each ball with your thumb and fill with your chosen jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. Allow to cool before serving.
