Ingredients
  

Turkey Sliders
  • 1 lb Ground turkey Lean ground turkey is preferred.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For cooking.
Toppings
  • 4 slices Havarti cheese Mild and creamy.
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry sauce Can be homemade or store-bought.
  • 4 small Slider buns Choose whole wheat or regular.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh arugula For garnish.

Method
 

Prepare the Turkey Patties
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the turkey patties to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Assemble the Sliders
  1. Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of Havarti cheese on each patty and cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  2. Spread cranberry sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  3. Place the turkey patties on top of the cranberry sauce, add arugula, and top with the other half of the bun.
Serve
  1. Serve the sliders warm with extra cranberry sauce on the side if desired.

Notes
