- Preheat the oven.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the browned beef mixture with cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
- Spread half of the beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Layer the remaining potatoes on top of the beef mixture.
- Spread the remaining beef mixture over the potatoes.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes until potatoes are tender.
