Method

  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until creamy. Add the butter mixture and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Gradually fold in flour until just combined; avoid overmixing for fudginess.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Once cooled, decorate with green and yellow frosting to resemble a football field.
