Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas to the wok. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Pour over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over rice or noodles, if desired.
