- Slice onions and mince garlic.
- Season both sides of the round steak with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the round steak for about 4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions and garlic until translucent, about 6 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Return the seared steak to the skillet, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 hour until tender.
- Serve hot with gravy drizzled over the steak.
