Baking and Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil; beat until smooth. Pour into a greased pan and bake according to package instructions.
- Allow the cake to cool completely. Crumble it into fine pieces in a large bowl.
- Mix in about half a cup of frosting until the mixture holds together when squeezed. Roll into one-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
Coating
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at short intervals until smooth. Dip each cake ball halfway into the melted chocolate and return them to the tray.
- Before the coating sets, add your choice of sprinkles for decoration.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm before serving.
