Baking and Preparing
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. Prepare the red velvet cake mix according to package instructions using eggs, oil, and water. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble it into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  4. Mix in the cream cheese frosting until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  5. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour until firm.
  7. Melt the white chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip each chilled ball halfway into the chocolate and return to parchment paper to set. Add sprinkles if desired.
