  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a cupcake pan with liners.

  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
  8. For the frosting, beat softened butter and powdered sugar together, adding vanilla extract and milk or cream to achieve desired consistency.
