  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, apples) or your choice of fruit
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed nuts, shredded coconut for added texture and flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather your tools: a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  2. In the bowl, combine semisweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Heat in the microwave at medium power in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring after each interval.
  3. While the chocolate melts, wash and slice the fresh fruit into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Prepare any optional toppings by setting them out in small bowls.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate into a serving bowl or keep it in the melting container. Arrange sliced fruits around it and serve with toothpicks or skewers.
