Preparation
- Gather your tools: a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
- In the bowl, combine semisweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Heat in the microwave at medium power in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring after each interval.
- While the chocolate melts, wash and slice the fresh fruit into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare any optional toppings by setting them out in small bowls.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a serving bowl or keep it in the melting container. Arrange sliced fruits around it and serve with toothpicks or skewers.
