Preparation
- Wash and chop apples, removing seeds.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cake mix according to package instructions and bake in greased pan for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Once cooled, crumble cake into a bowl and mix in half of the caramel sauce.
- Form small balls (about 1 inch) and place on a parchment-lined tray. Insert lollipop sticks and chill for at least one hour.
- Melt chocolate chips in short intervals until smooth. Dip each chilled pop into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Drizzle remaining caramel over each pop and sprinkle if desired.
