Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skin-on preferred
Honey Garlic Glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for skillet
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, grated ginger, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.
Cook the Salmon
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  2. Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey garlic glaze over them. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, basting the salmon with the glaze until cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the skillet and place on a serving plate. Drizzle any remaining glaze over the top, and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
