Ingredients
  

Crispy Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Caesar Salad Topping
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup croutons optional for crunch
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces sandwich rolls preferably ciabatta or baguette
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip in buttermilk again, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Fry Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels.
Prepare Caesar Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
  2. Toss well to coat the lettuce evenly.
Assemble Sandwich
  1. Brush the sandwich rolls with olive oil and toast them lightly.
  2. Layer the crispy chicken on the bottom half of each roll.
  3. Top with the Caesar salad mixture and cover with the top half of the roll.
