- Cook the bulgur according to package instructions using 2 cups of water. Once tender (about 12-15 minutes), set aside to cool.
- Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil over medium heat until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked bulgur, sautéed onions and garlic, ground beef, egg, parsley, spices, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or yogurt dip.
