  • 4 Fresh artichokes
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Prepare the artichokes by trimming and peeling them as necessary.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each artichoke in the flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the artichokes until crispy and golden brown.
  5. In another bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt to make the labneh dip.
  6. Serve the crispy artichokes warm with the labneh dip on the side.
