Ingredients
  

Bread and Base Ingredients
  • 12 slices white or whole wheat bread toasted
  • 8 slices bacon cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup cooked turkey breast sliced
Vegetables and Condiments
  • 1 cup leafy romaine lettuce washed and dried
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for spreading

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Slice the turkey breast and tomatoes, and wash the lettuce.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of 4 slices of toasted bread.
  2. Layer with lettuce, turkey, and tomato slices.
  3. Add another slice of bread on top, spread mayonnaise on top side, then layer with bacon and more lettuce.
  4. Top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  5. Cut each sandwich into quarters and secure with toothpicks if desired.
