Ingredients
  

Cottage Cheese Base
  • 2 cups cottage cheese preferably low-fat
Apple Mixture
  • 1 medium apple diced, any variety
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for sweetness
Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts chopped, optional
  • 1 tablespoon raisins optional

Method
 

Prepare the Apple Mixture
  1. Dice the apple into small pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add cinnamon and honey to the diced apples and mix well.
Combine with Cottage Cheese
  1. In a separate bowl, scoop the cottage cheese.
  2. Fold the apple mixture into the cottage cheese until well combined.
Serve
  1. Spoon the mixture into serving bowls or onto plates.
  2. Top with chopped walnuts and raisins if desired.
