Ingredients
  

Potatoes and Sausage
  • 4 cups diced potatoes about 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix dry mix
Additional Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream for mixing
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for greasing
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sliced smoked sausage, ranch dressing mix, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Dish
  1. Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Pour the potato and sausage mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Bake
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
