Method
Prepare the Bolognese Sauce
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Cook the Gnocchi
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float.
- Drain gnocchi and set aside.
Assemble the Bake
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large baking dish, combine cooked gnocchi and Bolognese sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
