Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup protein powder vanilla or unflavored
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon optional
  • 1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Combine Wet Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, mix the milk, Greek yogurt, honey, beaten egg, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
  1. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Shape and Bake
  1. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming biscuits. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
