Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries washed and drained
  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar adjust based on sweetness of fruit
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening
Crumble Topping
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon optional

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine blueberries, sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat the fruit evenly.
Make the Crumble Topping
  1. In another bowl, mix together flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
