Ingredients
  

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla or funfetti cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup store-bought or homemade frosting
  • 12 oz high-quality chocolate melts
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • about 12 lollipop sticks

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the cake mix according to package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the frosting until you achieve a dough-like consistency.
  4. Roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Melt a small amount of chocolate and dip one end of each lollipop stick before inserting it halfway into each ball.
  6. Chill the pops in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  7. Dip each chilled pop in melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then decorate with sprinkles while still wet. Allow them to set.
