Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Pita bread for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined but do not overmix.
  2. Shape the mixture into equal portions (4-6) and mold onto skewers into oval shapes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375°F). Soak wooden skewers in water if using.
  4. Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 160°F).
  5. Serve hot with warm pita bread and tzatziki sauce.
