  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips.
  2. Marinate the beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
  3. While marinating, wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Add marinated beef to the skillet in an even layer; sear for about 2 minutes without stirring.
  6. Stir in broccoli, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Add a splash of water to steam the broccoli while cooking until everything is heated through.
