Prepare the BBQ Chicken Filling
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Add the cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the chicken mixture and stir until combined.
Assemble the Sandwiches
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, place a generous amount of the BBQ chicken filling.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
Grill the Sandwiches
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
Serve
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute.
- Cut in half and serve warm.
