Prepare the Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
Coat the Balls
- Dip each potato ball into the beaten egg, then roll in the bread crumbs until fully coated.
Air Fry the Balls
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated potato balls in the basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
- Spray the tops of the potato balls lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
